Given she's been leading the debate for the last two years. This poll's just a snapshot after they've thrown everything at her, leftist and Republican establishment alike.

As for the NRO and other calls for her to just continue to support candidates, the hell with that. As DeMint puts it:

“We’ve never spoken, but she left me a nice message, and I believe she’s done more for the Republican Party than anyone since Ronald Reagan,” he said.

She's as much right to run as anyone--more. She's earned it, saving the GOP from a third party, and energizing the TEA party to historic gains.

And anyone who thinks she's a mere charismatic "celebrity" is fooling themselves.
